Artisan: Connecting Worlds
Part of a 12-piece collection in collaboration with recent graduates of Turquoise Mountain in Kabul and jewelry designer Garnish by Kara Hamilton in Toronto, the silver and lapis ear cuff is the perfect example of east-meets-west style.
As part of this process, Kara spent a week in Kabul working directly with the artisans. The artisans in turn were given a rare opportunity work with an international designer and gain experience and exposure to new designs, techniques and trends.
