Having lived through the oppression of the Taliban years, Tamim, as an artist, is determined to give his people and his country a voice. His work has been shown in contemporary art museums from Doha to London.
The vibrant blues in this work of art are ground from the semi-precious stones lapis lazuli and turquoise, both native to Afghanistan.
