Established in 1992, Gone Rural is a socially responsible business that began working with 30 local female artisans and has grown into an international company providing income for over 750 rural women in Swaziland. Gone Rural is constantly working with their weavers to redefine what can be made with grass and a skilled hand – from fashion, to lighting, to sculpture and accessories.

Gone Rural embraces the vitality and artistic spirit of women living in rural Swaziland to create innovative, high-end décor products out of local, sustainable materials.
