Artisan: Connecting Worlds
Part of a 12-piece collection in collaboration with recent graduates of Turquoise Mountain in Kabul and jewelry designer Garnish by Kara Hamilton in Toronto, this bronze ring with an oblong lapis stone is perfect for everyday wear and another great example of east-meets-west contemporary style.
Kara Hamilton travelled to Kabul where she spent a week working directly with the artisans to finalize each piece in this collaboration. The artisans in turn were given a rare opportunity to work with an international designer and gain exposure to new designs, techniques and trends.
Please note that the base material is natural bronze and therefore subject to tarnish.
