This sand colored hand-woven lambswool patou (throw) is finished with traditional fine-spun borders and available in five incredibly soft colors inspired by the landscapes of the tribal areas where most of the weavers live. Both the vibrant border designs and colors may vary as they are handmade and dyed individually. Colors will usually include subtle striations of blue, black, gold, brown and saffron.
Patous (woolen shawls or throws) are hand-woven in an age-old tradition, and typically passed from father to son. Men use them around their shoulders in winter, while women sit on them or use them to wrap up newborn babies. Woven in the tribal areas in Pakistan, the patous are made of 100% pure lambswool gathered by local farmers.
• Dimensions: 125cm x 225cm.
• Hand wash in cold water or dry clean.
